This was my second holiday season here in VA Beach. Growing up in Vermont, I'm used to a lot of snow and sub-freezing temperatures this time of year. I'm happy for a break from that.
It is still an outlandish concept to me to be on a beach in the winter. It's even been moderately warm and I've been able to do quite a few shoots on the beach. Cleaning sand off of the gear is worth it!
While I do miss being on the boat, this is one of my favorite times of the year. And getting photos that I'm happy with is just super fun!
Thank you to everyone who let me take some photos! Now I'm ready for the warm weather!
